In planning and analyzing programs for the creation and generation of wealth within and for the Black community; two basic concepts need to be understood.

A. CULTURE is our foundation, SPIRITUALITY is our infrastructure, and MONEY is our tool for the continued creation and maintenance of WEALTH.

B. WEALTH is the bringing together of all resources to the general benefit of family, community and race. The true substance of wealth is its use for the betterment of the total society and not just for some narrow individualistic pursuit of material possessions. True wealth creates FREEDOM. A free people are able to feed, clothe, shelter, educate, employ and protect themselves. Only FREE PEOPLE are truly respected. It is our God-given right to be free.

The businesses of our community are key to our economic future. Black Business Builders are committed to these ideals and objectives:

* We are committed to working with individuals and with organizations who are dedicated to progress and uplifting; and who:

* Will not allow religion, denominationalism, politics, selfish self interests, class, color, tradition, or national origin to create division or discord.

* Will celebrate with pride our culture and traditions, without intolerance or disrespect to other people's culture and traditions.

* We have developed a simple-yet-effective Plan of Action for anyone to follow. This Plan was developed to help create wealth for all members who follow it, will you join us in making our communites a better place to live.
