Have you ever had one of those experienceswhere you're at the same place, doing thesame thing as someone else and after thefact you both describe it... only to soundlike you were only totally different planets?Like watching a movie...One person says, "It was the BEST movie--Ican't wait to see it again..."The other person says, "Oh man, I couldhardly stay awake... how stupid... they couldn'tPAY ME to see it again."Yet BOTH people were at the exact samemovie--sitting right next to each other.Or how about a restaurant...One person says, "WOW! I really enjoyed thismeal. I can't wait to come back and try somethingelse on the menu."The other person says, "They'll be closed ina month. I'd rather eat at McDonalds." (no offenseto Mickey D's ;)Now these examples are kind of funny... andtotally harmless. But they're something yousee all the time, right?People essentially doing the same things,at the same places, yet having totally differentexperiences.Sometimes it's a matter of taste...You think sushi is exquisite... I think it's gross. ;)But other times... the times when it really matters...are what I want to talk about.Because I see it every single day....Some people are successful--everything they wantjust sort of lines up for them and the Universe bendsover backwards to flood them with success, wealth, happiness, joy, abundance... all the good stuff. While others... given the same or BETTER opportunities...pile on the problems. Nothing works. They're alwayssick, unhappy and broke. Always complaining and askingthe big question, "WHY ME?!"The truth is, we're all seeing the SAME MOVIE andeating at the SAME RESTAURANTS... yet we're experiencingeverything from total blissed-out success to excruciatingfailure... and everything in-between.I don't mean movies and restaurants literally,I'm talking about LIFE.I see it with wanna-be Entrepreneurs all the time.In fact, I've categorized them into two types--the B2s and the I2s.******************************************************The B2s BUY and BLAME.These are the folks who buy everything... from thecheap ebooks to the high ticket coaching and events.Yet nothing ever changes for them--except, of course, their bank balance continues to shrink. And they BLAME everyone--from their family whowon't support them... to their job that sucks outall their time... to the person that sold them thecourse to begin with. They BLAME, BLAME, BLAME.For them, it's ALL about the BLAME GAME.******************************************************Then there are the I2s.The I2s INVEST and IMPLEMENT.These are the movers and shakers. They take responsibilityfor themselves and their outcomes. They know what theywant and they're willing to take ACTION to get it.They don't just randomly buy stuff--hoping to findthe "secret" to get-rich-quick. Nope. These peopleINVEST in themselves and their future. They IMPLEMENT what they've learned from the ebooks, courses and seminars and they see RESULTS.For them, it's all about getting their "PRIZE CLEAR"and going after it. They get it!******************************************************I see B2s and I2s everywhere. They're BOTH some of my best customers--in terms ofwhat they buy. But only the I2s get to enjoy thedinner and movie.Meaning, they're coming from a point of view (the rightmindset) that allows them to take the wisdom we shareand turn it into real wealth... or whatever it isthey're after. In fact, just yesterday I heard from BOTH.I had a raving testimony/success story froma BBB Club member who was clearly an I2 and I hearda sob story from a B2. And the sad thing is,the B2 actually had a much better "chance"to make it big.So how about you?Are you a B2 or an I2?Can you see how amazing your life could be ifyou became an I2? Imagine how it would feel tosuddenly have everything working for you just theway you'd always hoped and dreamed? It's possible. It is so important to have a people on your side that supports you. People who agree with you and what it is that you are trying to accomplish. People who will get up under your dreams and goals. That is where a community comes in.
My commUNITY is Black Business Builders Club and it’s a community of like minded individuals who understand the importance of mindset. We all are striving to reach a goal together.
We all come different walks of life. We all have something that we can offer each other.
You see, you can't really do it all alone. You have to have a machine behind you that provides you with the proper resources, tools, training and support. I see so many people out there trying to go at it alone, and they spin their wheels.
They drop all this money on the next greatest thing that rolls out every few weeks, because that salescopy promises that even the person who is a beginner can succeed with this magic widget, bullet, pill, lotion, notion or potion.
But when that person drops all that money on that thing and they still fail, now what? Could it be that they didn’t have a community or a few other people to help show them the way?
Did Oprah become who she is by herself? No, How about Michael Jordan? Nope. They both have coaches and team mates.
Go watch a movie and at the end of the movie, take a look at the credits and the thank you’s that the director shouts out. Try counting them.
Without those people, the movie would not have been made. So you see, a community a team of people who are on the same page, trying to reach the same goal is so important.
A community or a team that meets, communicate and shares together will be a team years to come. But a team that does not do these things, won’t last. The keys to success are passion, communication and participation.
The keys to success are passion, communication and participation.
